What do I do if I arrive when the reception is closed?

If you arrive outside reception opening hours, the key can be placed in the key box and the code will be given to you the same day you arrive. However, this requires that the reservation is prepaid.

Can I come and go as I please?

When you stay at STØBERIET, you can come in and out of the house 24 hours a day once you're checked in.

Where can I park?

Free parking is available in our own parking lot (entrance via Nannasvej), but the number of spaces is limited. If there are no more spaces available, there is public parking in the immediate vicinity.

Can I charge my electric car?

Yes, we have 6 charging stations for electric cars. Payment can be made by card and MobilePay. The stations can only be used by our guests.

Do I need to bring my own linen and towels?

Use of bed linen is mandatory. You can bring your own or rent a linen package from us. Rental of linen package incl. towels costs DKK 100.00 per set. Violation will result in a charge of DKK 250,- per bed!

When will it be quiet at the foundry?

In order to get a good night's sleep, we need quiet from 23:00-07:00.

Is there a kitchen I can use?

There is access to a large guest kitchen with self-catering facilities. In the guest kitchen you will find pots, pans, pots, pans, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, kitchen utensils etc.

In addition, you will of course find plates, cups, glasses and cutlery etc.

Grocery shopping is available within walking distance from the hostel.

Can I bring my own drinks?

It is not allowed to bring your own drinks. Consuming your own drinks will incur a minimum fee of DKK 500.00, and in the worst case it may result in expulsion without any form of refund. It is possible to buy beer, water and wine in the house.

Where can I smoke?

Smoking is not allowed indoors. Violation will result in an extra cleaning fee of DKK 3,000. In our outdoor areas you will find a smoking pavilion where smoking is allowed.

Can I bring my dog?

You are welcome to bring a dog. It costs DKK 100 for the first day, then DKK 50 per day. Please note that there are a few selected rooms where dogs are allowed. Please contact reception for more information.

Can I cancel my reservation?

If you wish to cancel your reservation, this must be done as far in advance as possible. We only accept cancellations via email: info@stoeberiet.dk

If you have reserved one to two rooms, you can cancel your reservation up to three days before arrival for a cancellation fee of DKK 100 per reserved room. If less than three days before arrival, the reservation is binding and you must pay the full amount for the stay including any extra services ordered.

What to see in Svendborg and the surrounding area?

Svendborg has plenty to offer, both culturally and in terms of nature experiences. At VisitSvendborg you can get inspired for exciting activities during your stay.

What can I do?

With a stay with us, you have plenty of opportunities for exciting activities and experiences.

For the active, South Funen can be experienced from the water with a kayaking holiday, you can explore the idyllic landscape with a cycling holiday on the area's many cycling routes, or get your feet moving and enjoy first-class nature experiences on the Øhavstien, one of the best hiking trails in Denmark. If you want to pedal faster, you can try your hand at South Fyn's many mountain bike trails and beautiful forest roads, and if you're a golf enthusiast, Fyn also offers plenty of opportunities to practice your skills on the many fine golf courses. If you like island atmosphere, unique nature and idyllic villages, you can take ferries from Svendborg Harbour to many of the islands in the South Funen Archipelago. You can find out more about island hopping in the South Funen Archipelago and learn more about the islands here.

You can also rent our retro Puch Maxis, complete with green milk crates and fox tails. From the moped saddle, you can explore Svendborg and the surrounding area on your own or with a group of friends, and there are also guided tours with lots of stories and sights. 

And then of course there's Svendborg. With our central location, you have the large, vibrant commercial city just around the corner, where there are always activities, exhibitions, concerts and much more.
