Our comfortable rooms are all equipped with modern beds, private shower and toilet, TV and free Wi-Fi. Our rooms are available in three versions: single, double or bunk rooms for 3-4 people.

Accessibility

Although our buildings are not specifically wheelchair accessible, we are often visited by institutions and associations where guests are wheelchair users, people with walking difficulties, visually impaired, etc. We have 12 rooms that are especially suitable for wheelchair users and where the toilet facilities are extra good. At the hostel we have various ramps and an elevator that can be used with the help of the staff.

Transportation to the foundry

STØBERIET is centrally located in Svendborg close to the city's main roads and highway. It is therefore easy to get here by car. If you use public transportation, we are 15 min. walk from Svendborg station, from where there are bus connections and trains to Odense. Next to the station you'll find Svendborg Harbor, from where you have ferry connections to many of the islands in the South Funen Archipelago. If you're on a hike, the Archipelago Trail leads you through Svendborg and close to STØBERIET. If you're cycling, we are centrally located in relation to the Østersø, Herregårds and Fyn Rundt routes.

Parking space

Free parking is available in STØBERIET's own parking lot, but the number of spaces is limited. Parking is accessed via Nannasvej. Public parking is available in the immediate vicinity.

Charging stations

We have 6 dedicated charging stations for charging guests' electric cars. The charging stations may only be used by our guests. If our guests need to use a charging station and there are none available, please contact reception.

Bike, kayak and other equipment storage

We offer lockable "gear hostels" for your equipment, so you can be sure that your equipment is safe when not in use.

Dining room

On the first floor of the house, you'll find the dining room where the buffet is served.

Catering

All meals are home-cooked by our skilled kitchen staff, with a focus on high-quality seasonal ingredients. Lunch and dinner are only served in connection with group or course events in the house. If you are not traveling as a group, you can ask at the reception if it is possible to eat with us.

Breakfast buffet: From 06:30 - 09:30 (weekend from 06:30 - 10:00) - Lunch: 12:00 - Evening buffet: 18:00

In the period July 1 - August 10 there is a breakfast buffet from 06:30 - 10:00 every day.

Guest kitchen and shopping

The guest kitchen is reserved for families and single guests. In the kitchen you will find an oven, microwave, pots and pans and a fridge. There is also cutlery and crockery for free use. It is possible to buy groceries a few minutes' walk from STØBERIET.

My activities

Outdoors we have a large patio with a cozy terrace, barbecue hut, mini soccer field, multi gym, jumping poles, trampoline, sun canopy and more.

In our basement you will find an activity room with a sofa group for 25 people with 42″ cable TV and various games such as pool table, table tennis, air hockey & football games.

Bar 

You can buy drinks and snacks from our refrigerators/confidence bars located on the 1st and 2nd floor. Here you can pay with MobilePay - or pay at the reception.

Washing facilities

There is access to washing machines and dryers in the house. The price is DKK 20 per machine (incl. soap/detergent) - washing tokens can be purchased at the reception.
