At Danhostel Svendborg you have the opportunity to go on an adventure on one of our beautiful old Puch Maxis - complete with green milk crates and fox tails.
From the small, well-oiled machines, the trip can take you to Svendborg and the surrounding area, where city life, lots of fun stories and, not least, unique nature and rural idyll along the area's many small country roads await.
With a Puch Maxi ride, you'll experience the wind, weather and the scents of nature while the chirping of birds mixes with the iconic sound of the Puch Maxi.
This stylish classic opens up a world of fun and adventure - just strap on the helmet, pull the throttle and unleash your inner Polle from Snave.
When you go on a Puch Maxi tour, it's up to you to decide what the trip brings. Our Puch Maxis can be used as part of a team building event, as a family trip, or during your bachelor party where you experience South Funen in a new way. It can also just be a "girls'" or "boys' trip" where the clique gets a fun and different experience.
The fine little mopeds are ready for your excursion, and we're happy to help you with great ideas for destinations or routes in the area. If you want to spice up your Puch Maxi tour with stories about Svendborg and lots of tall tales, the tour can be combined with a guide who will lead you to the gems of South Funen

With our Puch Maxi rentals, you'll always have the perfect gift idea at your fingertips. Whether it's a gift for a good friend, a special date with your boyfriend or girlfriend, or a nostalgic reunion for your moped-loving uncle: with a gift card for a Puch Maxi tour, the lucky person will receive a gift they've never had before.
When you rent our Puch Maxis, you'll of course also be provided with a helmet with the right look, and reflective vests can also be borrowed for a flawless outfit.
Gorilla Park
On your tour / During the tour you have the opportunity for a small coffee break at Gorilla Park.
If you arrive on one of our Puch Maxi's, there will be a FREE soda/water/coffee/tea/cocoa in their cafe "GO!Rillax".
The trip out there offers beautiful South Funen nature - and from the café you can enjoy the sight of guests swinging in the treetops overlooking the South Funen Archipelago. From Danhostel Svendborg it's a short 10 km out there.
Gorilla Park offers: Treetop Climbing, Segway Safari, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Group coaching for climbing as teambuilding, hiking with nature guide.
Guided tours

A guide can be booked to take participants on an exciting tour of the area. The route may vary and can be customized according to your wishes. There can be a maximum of 10 people. on a guided tour.

Price for 3 hours guided tour 1.500,-
+ DKK 425 per participant.

Price for a 3-hour guided group tour (max. 10 people): 4.500,-
WHEN you rent a Puch Maxi with us, you get:
- 1 newly renovated Puch Maxi during the rental period
- Back-up if technology fails
- Liability insurance
- Helmet
- Heavy-duty lock
- Ready-mixed gasoline for the road
- Foxtail and milk crate
We also have a few requirements for you
- We also allow us to require a deposit of DKK 1,500 when you rent a moped
- The moped must be picked up in person
- We need a copy of your driver's license/ID
- We only rent to people under the age of 20 when accompanied by an "adult"
- The moped is of course insured against liability - but the driver is NOT covered, so remember to check your own insurance
Cancellation
Groups (min. 8 people)
- Cancellation of a group tour can be made up to 1 month before the date of the tour at no cost.
- For later cancellations/adjustments, a fee of DKK 100 is payable per canceled moped.
- Cancellation/adjustment less than 14 days before the date of the event will be charged in full.
Individual: (up to 8 people)
- Moped rental can be canceled up to 7 days before the event at no cost.
- For later cancellations/adjustments, a fee of DKK 100 is payable per canceled moped.
- Cancellation/adjustment less than 3 days before the date of the event will be charged in full.
The above also applies when paying with gift cards.
